Beading Dreams: Empowering Youth Creatives

Empowering Youth Creatives in partnership with Xavier University of Louisiana's Division of Fine Arts and Humanities provides a safe and supportive environment where children can explore their interests outside of the traditional school setting. The program is designed to introduce children to the history of Black Masking Indians and the art of beading, providing them with practical skills that they can use in their everyday lives. Through the program, children will learn valuable life skills such as patience, perseverance, and problem-solving in honor of Chief Larry Bannock.
